Think of your traditional CSA, but the CSA is grown at your home instead of a farm out of sight. The greatest benefit to you is the fact that you don’t have to commute once a week out to the farm or the drop point to pick up your weekly produce. If you’ve ever belonged to a CSA in the past, you probably know that you don’t get a big seeing what’s grown on the farm. Ever come home from the CSA farm with an arm full of lettuce and some kohlrabi? It’s typical for expectations to not meet reality with most CSA’s. The customer doesn’t typically get a saying what’s ground on the farm. However, MEG’s edible landscapes turns this model upside down on its head. You’re the boss of what is growing in your CSA. If you love peppers and despise tomatoes, no problem! This all starts with a questionnaire long before the season starts. As a new CSA member, will reach out to you to find out what you love what you hate and what you would like in your weekly CSA shares.

Some CSA’s offer delivery but that is few and far between. Some CSA’s will drop photos off at pick up points like a local grocery store, but this still has the same problem of requiring weekly grocery runs. We believe the best place to grow food is at home where it’s going to be consumed. This is why we’ve designed this new CSA around your home to not only save you time but also to allow you the pleasure of watching your garden grow.

MEG stands behind every plant. We have a 30 day guarantee on all plants. Our CSA members who also have automated watering system have a seed-to-seed guarantee. This means that every plant is guaranteed to make it to the end of its life cycle. For instance, a pepper plant will make it all the way to producing lots of peppers. If for some reason there’s a failure of the plants, that plant will be replaced. This way you can be reassured that you will have a successful garden.
